Jodi Lee (Enchanted Geek)
My name is Jodi Lee.
(The Enchanted Geek).
I have been drawn to creating my entire life.
Creating anything from forts, to furniture, to gardens, to art of any kind, has always been my true happy place. Thirteen years ago I decided to try promoting my creations to see if there was any interest. Within a year, my paper flowers were in over 150 weddings all over the world, as far as Germany. They were also featured in a wedding on SLICE tv.
When cutting machines entered the scene, my hand cut flowers were no longer worth the hard work compared to a machine that took a fraction of the time, and were priced higher than mine. Reluctantly I retired from this.
Since then, I have organized and attended hundreds of art shows in the Kingston/Quinte area. I have organized multiple charity events as well, including one that was featured on CKWS news in Kingston.
In over a decade as "The Enchanted Geek", I have created everything from paper jewlery, to polymer clay creations, to my most beloved, mandalas.
I found mandalas during lockdown, and it gave me a much needed escape and peace of mind.
I am in love with the entire process, the beauty, the serenity, the unknown, the uniqueness of each piece. It is a true therapy. Some of my pieces have taken up to a year to complete.
I am now only able to dedicate time to my art in the Winter months, as I manage the Sandbanks/Breathe Vacations full time as my main job. I have two daughters, and as busy as I am, I will always find a way to create art. I am overjoyed to be able to share it with you.
My art is currently available to view in person at Tinkered Decor and More in Belleville, and The Presquille Waddling Arts Center in Brighton.
