Vic Shukov

Vic Schukov was born in Montreal. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from McGill University. After leaving corporate life, he moved to Brighton in Upper Canada (now called Ontario) and founded the town of Brockville.

He writes weekly columns for several newspapers, going on 40 years now.

Vic is a novelist, musician, stand-up comic, editor, journalism teacher, ghost writer, and a staged playwright. He writes the weekly Funny Side Up humour column for the Belleville Intelligencer.

He also writes and performs a lot of songs and is working on his 100,000th hour on guitar.
